Leasehold Sale and Purchases
Where you are buying or selling a leasehold property, slightly more legal work is involved than with a freehold. Your lease will have detailed provisions outlining your obligations. You will want to know for example the service charge provisions, the term of the lease and insurance details and whether there is a management company. We investigate these and other matters pointing out any difficulties. Your lender will want to see the terms of your lease comply with its requirements and we also act for most of the lenders in the mortgage market making no further charge for this.
